Experiential Learning

At NLA, students learn leadership by putting it into action.

Through our partnership with Homes of Hope Baja, students help build a home for a family in need in Baja, Mexico. The program fee covers the cost of construction materials for the home.

Beyond the build, students develop practical leadership skills they can use in their schools, communities, and future careers, including:

• Communication and teamwork

• Peer mentoring

• Critical thinking and problem-solving

• Confidence and stepping outside their comfort zone

• Public speaking

Students leave NLA ready to lead with confidence, serve with compassion, and make a difference.
